The 20th Century at Bacon's Castle

What was life like at Bacon's Castle in the 20th century when the home was owned by the Warren family and then by Preservation Virginia?
Come check out our photo displays, newspaper articles, and rarely seen collections objects. It's also your chance to see the impressive restoration work being done!
We are very interested in your memories and stories as we continue to add to our understanding of those who lived and worked at Bacon's Castle.
As an expression of thanks to the community, we will offer free admission to Bacon's Castle and mini tours at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
The event will be followed at 4:30 pm by a pot luck picnic for present and former staff, volunteers and friends of Bacon's Castle.
