Stand-Up Comedy Course + Perform (4 weeks)

Master stand-up comedy and be a better storyteller on stage, at work, and socially!

This course is extremely practical and will give you a lot of tools to use straight away.

You will learn the science behind jokewriting, dive deep into your personal humour, learn joke structures and writing techniques, create your own set, and practice with a mic - then you'll give your set to a live crowd at our Grad Show.

This course can help you to grow your stage presence, confidence, and ability to wow others in a range of settings.

➤ Joke-writing: We will teach you the structure of a joke and how you can maximise laughs.

➤ Storytelling: You will become more confident in telling stories that resonate with audiences.

➤ Stage presence: We will help you to improve your presence when on stage and in social situations.

➤ Crowd work: This course will cover theory around crowdwork and interactions.

➤ Scriptwriting: Learn techniques that will improve your writing ability and creativity.

➤ Public speaking: Gain new public speaking skills that will improve your timing, delivery and confidence when on stage and speaking with others.

➤ This course is either held over 4-weeks, with each session going for 2.5 hours. It is the same date and time for 4 weeks.

➤ The grad show is generally held on the Saturday or Sunday straight after the final session.
