The Wild Woman Within - A Vocal Healing Workshop

What comes to the surface when you sing? Is there a longing to release, yet something is blocking you? Do you desire a deep somatic release and expansion through the power of your own singing voice?

“The Wild Woman Within” is a workshop for women who long to connect to their true self through their voice. Those who are ready to step into deep transformation, healing and exploration through the power of their own frequency. Through tuning into our own vocal frequency and connecting to our sacred feminine womb; we alchemize, we connect to our spirit and we regulate our nervous systems by opening our vocal channels.

Siobhan will gently guide you through practices to connect to your truth and release through your voice. This is not a singing lesson. This is a place for deepening into ourselves through connection to our own voice and spirit. A place to finally let go and allow ourselves to be vulnerable, raw and messy through song within the safety of a feminine group.

Over the course of 3 hours, we will begin by deepening into the body with breath work and vocal toning. We will be singing as a group (very gentle and easy like a mantra). For women that feel called to do so, you will also have an opportunity to sing individually as the group holds sacred space for you to release and deepen into yourself. To close, we will have time at the end to share about our experience with the group and integrate what we have felt.

Siobhan has been performing and educating as a vocalist for 25 years. She has given voice to many projects in Canada and internationally, most notably for Paul Shaffer & Valerie Simpson (Ashford & Simpson). In addition, Siobhan performs in Vancouver bringing the magic of Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin to the stage.

Her journey into teaching voice and facilitating vocal healing retreats began as a result of realizing and healing blockages within herself that led to a vocal freedom she had never known. The desire and inspiration to facilitate spaces for others to connect to their deepest self expression began in 2019. Siobhan's goal through her work is to create a space where you feel empowered to use your voice and the freedom to truly release what is longing to come out. She guides somatically using many techniques to break through blockages deep in our energetic bodies.
