🎣 Take a Kid Fishing Day at the Surfside Beach Pier! 🐠

Join the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) for the annual Take a Kid Fishing Day! This family-friendly event encourages kids to experience the joy of fishing while learning about conservation and our coastal environment.
🎁 The first 25 children registered and in attendance will receive a free tackle box and tackle!
👉 Important Info:
Registration required — Parents, please register children only.
Free event for children (ages 3 and above) and one accompanying adult.
Catch and release only — all bait is provided!
Bring your own fishing rods & tackle if possible (a limited number will be available for kids).
Dress appropriately for the weather and bring sunscreen, hats, and reusable water bottles to stay hydrated.
No smoking on the pier.
Rain or shine event unless hazardous weather occurs.
