BIFF INVITES YOUR PARTICIPATION
We encourage all members and friends of the Bainbridge Island Fly Fishers to actively participate in our activities. Whether you're a member or a friend of BIFF, we invite you to volunteer and coordinate with the club. You can host a fly-tying session at your home or another venue (we can limit the number of attendees or find a larger venue like Seabold Hall), suggest a club outing and assist with organizing it, or volunteer at our Fly-Fishing Auction in March or the Youth Fly Fishing EXPO in May. November – Meeting + Program
Looking forward to having as many BIFF Members as possible at the meeting.
Meeting - Election of Board Members – We will have the election of our Board at our November 25 meeting. We generally have 7-9 members on our BIFF Board. A big thank you to Tom Fahner for his service on the BIFF Board, he decided not to seek reelection. We currently have 7 board members. The remaining Board members have agreed to serve another year if elected.
If you are interested in being a Board Member and playing a role in supporting BIFF and our programs, please hit REPLY and let me know I can fill you in. Only BIFF MEMBERS are permitted to vote and serve on the BIFF Board. Nominations from the floor will be permitted. If you wish to place yourself in nomination to be a board member, please do so. Please only nominate a BIFF Member from the floor who has agreed to be nominated. If we have more than 9 nominations, we will use the ballot and if there are 9 or fewer nominations, we will vote by consensus.
Program - Our presenter will not be able to be with us at the meeting so, after the business meeting, it would be great if a hand full of those attending would share a special fishing experience they had this past year.
