Erick Wolfmeyer believes that everyone has a story—an evolving blend of truth and fiction shaped by what we are told and what we tell ourselves, connecting us across time and place. Through abstract design, color relationships, and the meditative act of repetitive construction, quilting has become the central expression of his identity. He creates quilts for the common good, as acts of joy, inspiration, and transcendence, each one recording the expansion of his soul through the work of his hands.

Cara grew up in the Kansas City area. She received her BFA in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute. Prior to moving to Brooklyn, NY, Cara completed an MFA in sculpture at the School of the Art Institute Chicago. Her work is wildly contained in lines she draws from childhood comforts, world chaos, and the time spent looking down.
