Markus Schulz is a German-American DJ, producer, and label founder known for blending trance, progressive, and house into emotionally charged dance music. Based in Miami, he’s the host of the long-running Global DJ Broadcast and the founder of Coldharbour Recordings. With a career spanning decades, Schulz has earned titles like America’s Best DJ, collaborated with Ferry Corsten as New World Punx, and released numerous albums, including under his darker techno alias Dakota. He’s performed at major festivals like EDC, Tomorrowland, and Transmission, and is known for marathon open-to-close sets at iconic clubs like Amnesia Ibiza and Avalon Hollywood. Looking ahead, Schulz continues to evolve his sound, push boundaries through Coldharbour, and plans to expand his global presence with new collaborations and immersive live experiences aimed at the next generation of trance and progressive fans.
