Death over Community

This is not a grief session or a death cafe. It’s an invitation to gather and explore topics about aging and dying in an actionable and approachable way. There will be some personal reflection and small group discussion.

These are starters - you may not complete a Health Care Directive or think about a Will/Trust, but you’ll start to understand your values, listen to others, and connect in community.

Bring some paper and a pen. We’ll provide some snacks!

Doors open at 6:15 - give yourself a few minutes to check into Maker Nexus and settle in before we get started.

Ka Yun Cheng is a death doula at Leave Behind Love who strives to normalize death as a conversation topic. She’s also the host of the recurring Death Cafe at the Sunnyvale Library.
