Quilt Show and Sale - A Fund Raiser for The Lighthouse, Sunnyside sponsored by Project Reach Out

Over 100 quilts are available for purchase (see Comments for samples). The monies collected will be donated to a local support agency, The Lighthouse. The Lighthouse's focus is to reduce the effects of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Lower Yakima County. Their purpose is to strengthen the community through advocacy with families and individuals. If you feel you have plenty of quilts but are interested in making a donation, stop by the Show and Sale on Saturday, September 13; 10 a.m. - 2 p.m; Sunnyside Christian Reformed Church, 700 North 16th Street.

The quilt sizes include baby, crib, lap, throw, twin, twin extra long, double, queen; a few runners and wall hangings. Tip: if you are considering a purchase for a bed, come with your measurements to ensure you find a proper size (since mattress depths vary so much).
