Sun Prairie Civic Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for CLUE, the fast-paced, laugh-out-loud stage comedy based on the iconic board game and cult-classic film. It’s a night of mystery, mayhem, and immaculate one-liners—where everyone’s a suspect, and anything can happen!
Performance Dates: April 10, 11, 12, and 17, 18, 19
Rehearsals Begin: Sunday, February 22
Rehearsal Schedule: Typically Sunday - Thursday 6:30-9:30pm (final schedule provided after casting)

Who Can Audition: Ages 21 and up (all experience levels welcome!)

WHAT TO PREPARE
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in.
Auditioners need to provide their own comedic monologue in a similar style to Clue, no longer than 2 minutes in length. Everyone will be asked to improv a short scenario.
Comfortable clothing recommended—there may be light movement/staging.

These descriptions represent how characters will be depicted in the show and are not criteria for casting.
Note: Some actors may be cast in multiple roles depending on the production’s needs. We are seeking a cast of strong comedic actors with great timing and ensemble energy.
Wadsworth (Butler): male presenting, roughly age 30-65, quick-witted, high energy, carries the pace of the show
Miss Scarlett: female presenting, roughly age 25-50, bold, clever, and suspiciously smooth
Professor Plum: male presenting, roughly age 30-60, charming, awkward, and pompous (in a lovable way)
Mrs. White: female presenting, roughly age 30-45, mysterious, femme fatale with an rapier wit
Mr. Green: male presenting, roughly age 25-35, anxious, earnest, and constantly unraveling
Mrs. Peacock: female presenting, roughly 4-60, pompous, overblown, and unintentionally raunchy
Colonel Mustard: male presenting, roughly age 40-60, blustery, clueless, and overcompensating
Mr. Boddy: male presenting, roughly age 35-45, suave, sly and calculating
Yvette: female presenting, roughly age 25-30, flirtatious, eavesdropping, and opportunistic
Singing Telegram: Female presenting, roughly age 25-30
The Cook: female presenting, roughly age 35-65
Motorist: any gender and age
Cops (casting 3): any genders and ages
Chief of Police: any gender, roughly age 40-65
