Summer evenings may be hot now, but when things start to cool down the Rec Centers will be ready with a pair of concerts at Beardsley Park this October!
This year’s Concerts in the Park series features music from The Backstage Crew on Thursday, Oct. 16 and the City Nights Band on Thursday, Oct. 23. Grab your lawn chairs, pack up some food and drinks and join us at the park for these two great concerts!
Both concerts begin at 7 p.m. with gates opening at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and are available beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2 *online at suncitywest.com/tickets and in person at the R.H. Johnson Box Office.

The Rec Centers are excited to announce that AZ Barbeque, located in the park’s ramada 3, will be providing concessions for both concerts!
Concert goers will be able to purchase from the following menu:
$10 hamburger/cheeseburger meal deal,
$8 beer brat or hot dog meal deal
$10 pulled pork sandwich meal deal
A meal consist of the main food item, chips and a drink.
Additional concessions of popcorn, ice cream, soda and water will be located at the park’s ramada 4 until 7:30 p.m.
Scheduled to perform Oct. 16 - The Backstage Crew
The Backstage Crew is “Arizona’s premier classic rock/variety cover band” performing everything from classic rock to country music. From the seasoned musicianship, four-part harmonies and powerful rhythm section to their on-stage antics, these four-piece Phoenix based band will provide a high-quality, high energy, interactive and entertaining show. With a strong emphasis on audience participation. And with an exceptionally wide variety of musical offerings, this band will keep the dancers on the floor, a smile on the most discriminating of listeners and are sure to give you something different from your average cover band.
