Vernisáž výstavy / Opening of the exhibition
Taiwanská fotografka Isa Ho (*1977) představí v Galerii Jiřího Jílka v Šumperku fotografickou esej propojující tři kontinenty a tři odlišné světy uměleckého životního stylu. Do objektivu se jí
dostávají umělci z legendární newyorské komunity Westbeth, umělecké vesničky Art Village v Taipei, ale i aktuální životní podmínky umělkyň na válkou zmítané Ukrajině. Citlivé snímky
zachycují prostředí, ve kterém se odvíjí osobní příběhy o křehkosti i síle umění a uměleckého života.
Výstavu uvedeme 23. 9. 2025 v 17 hodin za účasti taiwanské umělkyně Isa Ho.
Taiwanese photographer and artist Isa Ho (*1977) will present a photographic essay at the Jiří Jílek Gallery connecting three continents and three different worlds of artistic lifestyle. She captures artists from the legendary New York Community Westbeth and the Art Village in Taipei, as well as the current living conditions of female artists in war-torn Ukraine. The sensitive images capture the environment in which personal stories about the fragility and power of art and artistic life unfold.
The exhibition will be presented on September 23, 2025, at 5 p.m. with the participation of Taiwanese artist Isa Ho.
