Southern Fried Circus : Storytelling with Tim Lowry

Beginning with an almost-too-unbelievable-to-be-true story about accidentally setting a goat on fire, Tim goes on to share stories from his colorful life as a Southern Showman. He tells hilarious stories about family trips to Disney World, tour guiding in historic Charleston, suffering the indignities of back surgery, killing watermelons, and people watching at Waffle House. Whether you were born and raised in Dixie or you are just curious about eccentric Southerners, this is a show not to be missed!

Tim Lowry is an award-winning author and performer. His repertoire is broad, but decidedly Southern. Since 2000, he has made his living as a professional storyteller. He travels across the USA presenting personal narratives, historic stories, folk tales, poems, literary classics, the occasional ghost legend, and a few Bible stories. One audience member recently described his work as “a Southern Fried Circus, because you never know what’s going to jump out of that clown car next!”
