Workshop: The Godmother Within: The Sacred No

This workshop is part of series, an intimate, guided journey of connection, creativity, and reflection, and an opportunity to nurture your inner “godmother.” Facilitated by Dina Cantin with warmth and ease, each gathering brings together a sacred circle to remember the Godmother Within—the timeless, steady presence already living inside you. This is not a class to master, but a gentle reminder of what you already carry.

Session Four explores the art of saying “no” as an act of deep self-respect and care. Boundaries are not walls—they’re the lines that allow us to live in harmony with ourselves and others. By learning to honor and communicate our limits, we create relationships that are clearer, kinder, and more sustainable. A cacao ceremony will soften our hearts to this new way of being.

We’ll be joined by Terri Cole, licensed psychotherapist and the author of “Boundary Boss,” a guide to setting boundaries (without guilt or drama) and consciously taking control of every aspect of your emotional, spiritual, physical, personal, and professional life. Terri will share her wisdom on how to recognize boundary challenges, release guilt around saying no, and embody healthier, more authentic patterns of connection. The conversation will include a Q & A segment.

Through reflection, conversation, and practice, we’ll be reminded that boundaries are not a punishment, they’re a profound expression of love, both for ourselves and for those we care about.

Participants will take home a copy of “Boundary Boss.” Please bring your favorite notebook and pen or pencil, or come early and shop our in-store collection.

This event will be hosted on our third floor, which is only accessible by stairs.
