This one hits a littlee to close to home!! 🫶🏻 My bestie, a single mom to 2 beautiful babes, recently went for routine scans and found out news we never wanted to hear! but i know our God is bigger than any storm. 🙏🏽
-2020 she was diagnosed with stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer

this is not a post i’ve ever wanted to make ever again. but my latest MRI showed a little spot on the top left side of my brain. i had an appt this morning with the radiation oncologist and he said they wanted to go ahead with radiation. i will go back next Tuesday for the mapping and to get a mask and then we will start radiation soon after that. it’s not a big spot, so he wants to do 3 treatments.
I just need all the prayers that this treatment works and I don’t need anymore radiation. i’m upset and heartbroken but it is what it is. i’m trying to remain positive. one very positive thing is I don’t have to do chemo. 🙌🏼
anyway, if you could all just send up some prayers, i’d greatly appreciate it!!
also, if you feel the need to send some gas money my way for my travels to Norman, i’ll leave my venmo below. but please do not feel like you need to!!!! prayers will be even better. 🩷🩷🫶🏼
