Float Trip in the Sticks!

Come join us as we float the beautiful Meramec river Saturday September 13th! Open invite to all!!! We will be floating on our own floats/ kayaks/ and canoes! The stretch of river is from Sappington bridge to Meramec state park all within 15 mins of Sullivan. You will be responsible for what you’re floating on!! For those of you that have floats be at my house 8am SHARP to load up the trailer! (Get with me for address) From there we will head to Walmart to grab food and supplies. From walmart there we will head to Mermac state park’s boat ramp to drop off everyone’s vehicles. Then everyone will pile in the back of our two trucks and head up river to drop the floats and get to floatin! On this stretch of river we will be exploring a cave!! It’s a great idea to have an old pair of sneakers and a bright flashlight for the cave!

KEY THINGS TO KNOW
1.) If you ain’t on time and you’re left behind we’ll see you on the water! We’re putting in at sappington bridge so just put in there and float down! You’ll find us maybe 🤣🤣 one of us could give you a ride back to Sap bridge afterwards if you absolutely needed to.

2.) If you don’t have a float, Walmart sells blow up rafts for $15, if you wanted a kayak or canoe, rent from Meramec State Park and do the 10:30 am float at sappington bridge. You will leave your vehicle at the state park like the rest of us and they will shuttle you to the drop spot with your equipment already there. If you are renting, BOOK A SPOT EARLY BECAUSE THEY SELL OUT EVERY WEEKEND!
