Regency Book Club: Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans

Bibliophiles, rejoice! The Regency Society of Virginia cordially invites you to join our book club. Our Tuesday evening group will feature a variety of titles, either from or about the early 19th century. All are welcome to participate regardless of membership status with the RSV, but you must register in order to get the login credentials to join us on Zoom for our discussion.

While reading the "assigned" section is, of course, encouraged to enhance the discussion, if you don't have an opportunity to complete the reading, you are still most welcome to listen in.

This session will feature: Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans by Brian Kilmeade and Don Yaeger
October 14: Prologue - Chapter 8
October 28: Chapter 9 - Epilogue

A compelling account of the disparate individuals and communities which came together to turn back the British at New Orleans at the end (indeed...after the end!) of the War of 1812.
