Books at the Barn: Book Shopping & Papercraft

Sudbury Valley Trustees, Hygge House Books, and Athina Books present Books at the Barn! Come on by to shop for books and enjoy the company of friends in a fun setting! The holidays aren’t that far away. Maybe you can find some titles to suit those on your shopping list. A portion of the book sales will benefit the Community Book Nook Initiative by @hyggehousebooks.

And also...Give new life to old pages in this hands-on workshop where you transform discarded books into beautiful paper flowers. Participants will learn simple folding, cutting, and shaping techniques to craft unique blossoms—perfect as gifts, decorations, or keepsakes. It’s a creative way to enjoy book art while saving old books from the trash. No prior crafting experience needed, just a love of books, sustainability, and creativity! Sponsored by Athina Books, a used and antiquarian bookstore, opening in November 2025.
