Welcome back! We're excited to see everybody again. This round will be back at the Stuttgart municipal airport with 7 hours of seat time! We have a very different event planned for our drivers this time, this will be a challenge, as well as an absolute riot to watch.
As always, we promote a very family friendly environment, and FREE drift car ride alongs. Please take note however rides are contingent on the drivers and their availability at the time.

No experience needed to drive, we welcome new drivers at every event!
Drivers and passengers MUST wear DOT approved helmets inside race vehicles at all times.
NO HELMET: NO RIDING/DRIVING
DRIVERS: you MUST attend the drivers meeting to be allowed on track.
MEDIA: we will have a media briefing directly following the drivers meeting, we ask that you be present for both to understand the dynamics of the track layout and rules for the venue.

Clean up after yourselves
DO NOT get within 50ft of any aircraft at the venue.
Don't wander; please stay within the event space as this venue is an active airport.
Mind your manners. Stuttgart is a small town and your actions represent all of us. Any unsafe driving outside of the event venue will result in a PERMANANT BAN of you driving our events. This is a zero tolerance policy. THIS EXTENDS TO SPECTATORS!
we're excited to have spectators at our events, and welcome everybody who wants to come see what drifting is about, but PLEASE respect our venue and the town of Stuttgart coming and going. Any unsafe behavior at, or leaving our events will result in you not being allowed back.
TECH INSPECTION
-We do allow cageless tandem
-Race vehicles MUST have a muffler (turbo cars are exempt from this rule and are allowed to retain a straight exhaust) if you have any questions regarding this please message us.
-No front wheel drive vehicles
-No glass overflows
-Seats must be firmly secured
-If utilizing a harness, vehicles must use rollcage or harness bar with proper pickup points.
-All Lugnuts must be present
- No Leaks of any kind
- No loose items in vehicles.
-Tires must have minimum of 25psi cold
-Batteries must be secured (message us if you have any questions)
-Helmets must be DOT approved
COMP:
This will be an extra buy in day of to participate. We will take a short break around lunch, then get right back to driving. This will take less than an hour, we prioritize seat time for everyone.

Rules for the comp are as follows;
All drivers will retain a single set of tires throughout the duration of the comp. In the event of a 32 car field, or higher, the top 16 drivers will be allowed a tire change. 200tw or higher tires, no larger than a 265. No brand specifics.
The idea here is that higher horsepower cars will be forced to either pedal their cars to save tires, or utilize their advantage and risk dead tires near the end of the comp. Rolling the dice with OMT calls and such. This creates a unique equalizing factor that we believe will allow all cars to perform at a similar level, and creates a fun, challenging dynamic for our drivers.
The grand prize this year is our S13 coupe we'll be giving away to whoever scores the highest points over the course of the five event season. We will have a post in the near future explaining the points system and bracket.
Cash prizes will draw on the pot from participating drivers at each event. The buy in to compete is $50, on top of your gate and entry fees. This is cash on the dash, run what you brung. Winners take all.
70/30 split for first and second place.
πΎππ‘π‘π€πͺπ©π¨ will be an option as we build our brackets. Callouts will be settled at the drivers meeting and you will have the options to accept or turn down any for the bracket.
The only deduction for turning down a callout is applied to your street cred or pride
There are no special tech requirements. We allow cageless tandems (minus convertibles)
Brake lights must work, and will be tested by tech inspection.

NSD and it's staff pride ourselves on a grassroot, casual atmosphere. We hold this at the core of everything that we do. This being said, the judging for these events will be heavily influenced by grassroots drifting and its principals. Focusing on flushing out the passion, hustle and raw talent of the drivers in these competitions.
Judging will heavily reward commitment, style, and proximity. Close proximity will be rewarded over everything else, bar a chaseable lead run. Lead drivers will be penalized heavily over lack of flow, control, and placement within the zones provided. Zone design will be specifically engineered not to allow a lead car to choke off the chase driver. Chase drivers will be expected to take this advantage and stay as close as possible.
Lead cars will be judged on filling the zones and following the discussed line
Chase cars will be judged on their ability to mirror and follow the lead car as close as possible. CHASE them. If they drive two off, stay with them and stay on them.
Specific requirements from driving style will be discussed by the judges on the day of the event. This will change from round to round with different layouts and such. OMTs will be used sparingly, and only when absolutely necessary.
Two tires off will be a critical deduction. Three tires off is a zero.
Spins are zeros
In the event both drivers score zeros it will be a OMT. If it happens again before they advance, both drivers will exit the competition.
(unless, of course, this was indicative of another drivers mistake. Unchasable lead, contact, ect.)
De-beads are subject to disqualification.
All participating drivers need to be available at the drivers meeting at the beginning of the day to pay their buy in, and listen to the judging criteria. We ask that you keep a close eye on the times we give you, and be ready to go when the time comes. Our goal is to keep this as short as possible as to keep the track open for seat time most of the day. Do your part to be ready and prepared when your name is called. We plan on doing this as efficiently as possible and moving through the field quickly.
