🎶 Your first step into the joy of ukulele 🎶
Want to explore the peaceful, uplifting sounds of the ukulele? Whether you’re picking up the instrument for the first time or already strumming confidently, these group classes are designed to help you fall in love with making music.
Led by experienced ukulele instructor Ben Brill, each class blends fun, skill-building, and song practice. Students will learn:
-Basic chords and strumming patterns
-Rhythm skills and hand positioning for easeful, effortless playing
-How to play and sing at the same time
-Music from a wide range of styles: folk, rock, traditional, jazz, classical, and world music
-Optional advanced techniques like fingerpicking and solo ukulele style
Ben’s thoughtful, personalized teaching style helps students develop confidence and connection to their instrument. He’s also happy to arrange participants’ favorite songs for group play!
