Do you have a robust paper collection, but have questions about how to appropriately exhibit these pieces while ensuring their longevity? Join our Exhibits and Library and Archives PAG chairs to learn how to safely display your collection!
Participants can choose one of two options that best serves their needs, experience, and travel schedule:
From noon to 1pm, the facilitators will host a presentation (presented virtually and in-person) that will discuss the best practices around displaying books, manuscripts, maps, etc., in exhibit spaces. Attendees can elect to attend this portion virtually or attend the all-day in-person event.
Attendees who want hands-on experience with experts can join us all-day, on-site at Old Sturbridge Village. The day will include a one-hour presentation on best practices, a two-hour workshop where participants will create mounts and displays, a networking lunch, and tours of both Old Sturbridge Village and its collections space and library.
