This workshop is designed to provide FDACS-certified fertilizer applicators and other landscape professionals with guidance on the efficient, environmentally friendly use of fertilizers in the Floridian landscape. Emphasis is placed on the need to consider fertilization as one component of an integrated management system rather than an isolated activity. The unique properties of Florida’s soils and the importance of local Fertilizer Ordinances are highlighted.
A certification of attendance will be issued to all participants. 2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available for landscapers holding the following categories of licenses:
• Limited Urban Fertilizer
• Limited Lawn & Ornamental
• Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance
• Commercial Lawn and Ornamental
