Περίληψη Πλοκής:
Το 1949, ο Αμερικανός συγγραφέας γουέστερν, Χόλι Μάρτινς, φθάνει στη μεταπολεμική Βιέννη για να συναντήσει τον παλιό του φίλο, Χάρι Λάιμ. Κατά την άφιξή του, μαθαίνει ότι ο φίλος του σκοτώθηκε σε δυστύχημα στο δρόμο. Όταν, όμως, συναντά τον Κάλογουεϊ, τον επικεφαλής της Βρετανńskiej Στρατιωτικής Αστυνομίας στη Βιέννη, πληροφορείται ότι ο Λάιμ ήταν στην πραγματικότητα έμπορος του μαύρου αγοράς, καταζητούμενος από την αστυνομία. Ο Μάρτινς αποφασίζει να αποδείξει την αθωότητα του Χάρι, αλλά είναι πράγματι νεκρός;

In 1949, an American writer of westerns, Holly Martins, arrives in post-war Vienna to visit his old friend Harry Lime. On arrival, he learns that his friend has been killed in a street accident and when he meets Calloway, chief of the British Military Police in Vienna, he is informed that Lime was in fact a black marketer wanted by the police. He decides to prove Harry's innocence, but is Harry really dead?

The film will be introduced by the film director Adonis Christoforou.

The screening is supported by the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus.
