Homeschoolers: Stop the Bleed Class

Come join us for a hands-on Stop the Bleed class specifically designed for homeschoolers! Learn life-saving skills in a fun and interactive environment. The class will be held at the Parrott-Wood Memorial Library, so be sure to mark your calendars. Melinda Wilson, the Trauma Outreach and Injury Prevention Coordinator with UT Medical Center will be teaching this life saving class. Stop the Bleed is a national initiative designed to teach community members simple yet lifesaving skills to control life-threatening bleeding before professional help arrives. Uncontrolled bleeding is a leading cause of preventable death in trauma.Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn valuable techniques that could make a difference in an emergency situation.
