About
Sydney 1839. Louisa Anne Meredith - writer, botanist and artist from England - arrives in the colony eager to collect notes and sketches for her new book. An invitation to Evergreen House, the residence of the wealthy Coy family, appears to be the perfect setting for Louisa to document colonial life. But beneath the surface a scandal is brewing.
During a chance encounter with the escaped convict Wallace Hopkins, Louisa is given the means to expose this scandal.
Packed with intrigue, romance and comedy, Bunyip Barons is a raucous historic drama that brings colonial Australian life to the stage.
