Leading up to the Exeter UFO Festival, join us and special guest presenter Toby Ball as he presents his take on the Betty and Barney Hill alien abduction story, which was the subject of season one of his Strange Arrivals podcast. Now optioned by See-Saw Films (the studio that produced “Slow Horses” for Apple TV ), Strange Arrivals will become a feature film, starring Demi Moore and Colman Domingo.
Toby Ball is an author and host of the Strange Arrivals podcast, in which he explores the folklore and culture surrounding UFO encounters by going deep into the source material and examining the key stories the center. He's also a regular contributor to “Crime Writers On...” A True Crime Review Podcast.

September 19, 1961—Betty and Barney Hill of Portsmouth, N.H. arrived home after their trip back home from a vacation up north took two hours longer than expected. This missing time was later revealed to them, under hypnosis, as a very upsetting close encounter of the third kind.
September 3, 1965--18-year-old Norman Muscarello was hitchhiking to his home in Exeter along New Hampshire Route 150 in Kensington, when he saw a large object, hovering silently just over the trees with flashing lights. Exeter police investigated and also observed the object.
