Mountain to Forgotten World Gardens – 3-day mini break

Join us for a relaxing 3-day, 2-night tour
Accommodation – 2 nights Motel Accommodation in Taumarunui (twin/double share)
Day One – Today we travel to Mt Ruapehu and embark on the Sky Waka Gondola to enjoy lunch at 2020m ASL. Then onto Taumarunui for our first night’s stay. Gondola ride is 1.9km each way.
Meals today – lunch own cost – Dinner included
Day Two – today is all about gardens. All located on Taumarunui end Forgotten World Highway and all have the great backdrop of this amazing area surrounding.
Omaka - Meet Scott and Chris at their 3 acre, 5 Star Garden of National Significance.
To Whenua – a 1-acre garden created by a highly-qualified landscape designer and past garden judge at national level.
Bradley’s – another 5 Star Garden of National Significance where we will enjoy 9 different areas to explore, Devonshire tea for lunch and a game of mini-golf (great for team building)
Meals today – Breakfast, lunch at Bradley’s and dinner all included
Day Three – this morning we will visit Nevalea Alpacas – hand feeding, petting and photographing these adorable animals is a delightful experience. With a bit of patience, they are selfie obliging as well. Retail gift shop on site and machine coffee available. As we make our way back to Taranaki via Forgotten World Highway we will stop at Lauren’s Lavendar for lunch. Other refreshments breaks will be at Morgan’s Grave in Tangarakau Gorge – short walk to grave site and Whangamomona Hotel.
