Community Garden Workshop Series: Crop Rotation

Ready to roll up your sleeves and get growing?

South Taranaki District Council is inviting locals to a FREE series of practical gardening workshops held at community gardens across the District in 2025-26. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to make the most of small spaces, these sessions offer something for everyone.

Led by Mieke from Sustainable Taranaki, each workshop is packed with hands-on tips, local knowledge and sustainable techniques to help you grow confidently at home.

Crop Rotation workshop details:
Discover how rotating crops can improve soil health, reduce pests, and boost your harvest.

Time: 10am - 12pm
Location: Eltham E-Kai Community Garden - 85 Bridge Street, Eltham
(Postponement date in case of bad weather: Saturday 21 February 2026).
