Beach Glass Stone Setting Class

A perfect introduction to stone setting, spend the day bezel setting a beautiful piece of beach glass into a sleek and modern silver ring. Our experienced tutors will guide you through how to do so using a range of silversmithing techniques and a variety of traditional jewellery-making equipment in the correct manner.

You’re welcome to bring along your own piece of beach glass to create a sentimental piece, or choose from our lovely collection! This class includes the price includes silver to set a 10-20mm stone and make a unique statement ring. For stones bigger than this, please contact us here at the school by the 24th of November to ensure the materials are available for you on the day and to pay for additional materials in advance.

During this class, you will use traditional silversmithing techniques to create your piece and personalise with metal stamps. Tea, Coffee and biscuits are provided. We schedule one hour for lunch but food is not provided, so please bring your lunch, or you can eat at one of the lunch spots less than a 2 minute walk from the school.
