This is our first fundraiser tournament event with an entry fee of
$5.00 for the open (+850) USCF rated,
$3.00 for players Under 850 USCF rated
(Both groups of players might have to play each other if not enough players come, if enough players do show up, we will let each section play independently)
We are also having a non-rated section for anyone who cannot play in the USCF rated section.
Prizes: The open USCF rated section will have three prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place: The Under 850 USCF rated section will have two prizes for 1st, 2nd place: and the non-rated section will have one prize for 1st place. (Note there will be no cash prizes, all money from the tournament will go to buy new boards and clocks, prize photos will be posted in the comments section)
Rounds: We will be having 4 rounds
Time Control: G25 +5 (25 minutes with a 5 second bonus)
Lunch: After the 2nd round we will be having lunch (Please bring your own food for we will not be supplying food for everyone)
