MIKE MEEHAN & THE LUCKY ONES

Mike Meehan is an accomplished songwriter and performer in the east coast roots music scene. A founding member of roots rock band the Last Hombres (who recorded and toured with the legendary Levon Helm )as well as alt. country band the WellDiggers with the late Steve Welner,he has appeared on stages from New England to Louisiana to SXSW in Austin, Texas. Locally,Meehan has performed at The Great South Bay Festival Main Stage,The Boulton Center, The Paramount Theatre, Harry Chapin Stage in Heckscher Park and Bunkerfest. In 2024, Mike Meehan and the Lucky Ones were invited to play at the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in Stony Brook.
Recently he has banded together with like minded musicians to form the Lucky Ones,releasing several albums on Paradiddle Records.Often performing as a five piece featuring acoustic guitar,pedal steel and accordion,the band has been called "energetic,entertaining and engaging" and “a local favorite”
