Looking for some purposeful time on the trails? Want to give back to the community? If so, we have an event for you!
On Sunday October 12th from 10AM -12 PM, TARC will be joining up with the Friends of the Fells, Northeast Trail Crew (NTC), the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), Patagonia Cambridge, and the Cambridge Running Club (CRC) to clean up the Fells with a little activity called "plogging."
If you haven't heard of plogging, it's when you jog while picking up litter. Do you have to jog? No. You can sprint, run, or walk—whatever speed you like! But we would like for you to pick up some trash along the way😉. It's the only way you'll be eligible for the prizes!
There will be prizes for most trash, weirdest trash, most useful trash, most dog poop bags, and largest item of trash.
For more information, check out the event page below.
Hope to see some of you trail animals out there!
