Get ready for a night of soulful grooves and Village vibes! The legendary Albert White Band brings the sounds of blues, R&B, and soul to the heart of Stone Mountain Village - 2nd St & East Mountain - for another “tap-side” Tunes by the Tracks, thanks to our friends at Outrun Brewing, who are opening their space, staff, and hearts to keep the Village music spirit alive.
Atlanta native Albert White has been lighting up stages since the late ’50s, carrying the torch of his uncle Piano Red, the R&B icon behind hits like “Doctor Feelgood” (covered by the Beatles!). Over the decades, Albert has shared the stage with legends like Ray Charles, Rufus Thomas, The Tams, and Joe Tex, keeping Georgia’s authentic, high-energy R&B tradition alive and kicking.
The event goes on rain or shine (lightning or unsafe weather excluded) with music on tap from 7:00–9:00 PM. Bring your camp chair, your dancing shoes (if you’re so inclined), and - most of all - your heart for Village joy and camaraderie.
Outrun Brewing and nearby local restaurant favorites will be serving up great food and drinks with a number of our shops open late to add to the fun. Grab a bite, sip a refreshing beverage, and let the music move you.
Pro Tip: Arrive early, stay late- SMV After Dark has a rhythm all its own.
The Village is calling. See you there!
