About the event

Supported Stillness: The Wolf Moon Restorative Reset
The holiday glow has faded, and the intense rush of December has likely left your system depleted. Before the pressure of “getting back to work” and “new year, new you” takes hold, you deserve a true reset.

Join us for this special 75-minute workshop, perfectly timed under the powerful energy of the Wolf Moon—a traditional moment for deep replenishment, releasing what no longer serves you, and setting grounded intentions for the year ahead.

This is an essential act of post-holiday self-care, dedicated to recovering the reserves you spent devoting yourself to others. We begin with a short, very gentle movement sequence to soften the body, then settle into the luxurious practice of Restorative Yoga. You will be held and supported by an abundance of bolsters, blankets, and props, as we drop into profound rest and stillness.

The space will be transformed into a tranquil sanctuary, bathed in the soft glow of gentle candlelight and ambient lighting. This is where you consciously allow the body to stop the ‘doing,’ repair stress, and prepare your nervous system for the return to normality.

Give yourself permission to simply be. Comfy clothes, your coziest sweater, and even pjamas are not just welcome—they are strongly encouraged. Please bring your favourite blanket to make this self-care session truly your own.

What is restorative yoga?

Restorative yoga is the practice of conscious, active rest designed to soothe a stressed-out nervous system. It is a slower- paced type of yoga with sequences containing only a small number of asanas (postures) held for longer periods of time. Props are used in order to support the body in positions of comfort to encourage deep relaxation . This support encourages a deep letting go, which in turn cultivates a sense of mental and physical calm, allowing the body to truly rest and repair.
