About the event

MadLab presents: Big Bots - Build a MASSIVE Junkbot Robot
Big Bots is a hands-on, engaging workshop in which you work as a group to create a 6 foot robot sculpture from electronic waste. This unique experience is sure to get your tinker juices flowing!

Each group will dismantle the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), design a 2D sculpture and build part of the final robot. Once finished, the completed robot will be displayed in Stockport for you to visit whenever you like!

All equipment is provided. But if you have electronic waste at home that you would like to use, please feel free to bring it with you.

This event is free to attend. We charge a £5 booking fee, which is refunded on attending the event.

Sessions on Saturday 22nd November will be 3 hours long:
10:30 - 1:30pm or 2 - 5pm

Strictly for ages 7+ (due to the nature of the tools and sharp objects used)
