Ghost Alert! Create Your Own Circuits

In this workshop, you’ll design your very own security system using tin foil circuits to keep the ghouls at bay. Connect switches, buzzers, and lights, and watch your creations come to life. Use your creativity and problem-solving skills to build circuits that really work, creating the ultimate trick this Halloween!

Each session takes 1.5 hours. Sign up for one of three sessions on Friday 31st October:

• 10:00-11:30
• 12:00-13:30
• 14:00 - 15:30

What you’ll do

Join other junior inventors to:

• Create your very own spooky security system
• Connect buzzers and lights to switches in your very own circuits
• Experiment and get creative with your designs
• Test it out and watch your invention come to life!

Who’s this for?

Our sessions are open to 7-12 year olds.

What do you need to bring?

All equipment is provided. All you need to bring is a sparkling can-do attitude!

Every booking automatically grants entry to an accompanying adult. Due to venue size, we ask that you don't bring more grown-ups so that everyone has plenty of room to create!

Cost

This event is free to attend. We charge a £3 booking fee, which is refunded on attending the event. Or, if you prefer, you can leave it as a donation to MadLab CIC to support future community-led events. Refunds will be processed within seven working days. About the facilitator

This workshop is led by Olly Arif, who loves inventing fun projects to keep the spooky creatures away. His experience teaching, combined with his fascination for electronics and hands-on learning, makes this a fun and educational experience for all!
