Take Your Jewellery Making Skills to the Next Level
Located in the heart of Stockport’s up-and-coming Little Underbank, our fully equipped jewellery studio offers expert-led silversmithing courses in a welcoming and inspiring environment. With small class sizes (max 8 students) and unlimited tea, coffee, and chocolate bars, you’ll receive personalized guidance as you refine your craft.
Course Overview
This 6-week Intermediate Silversmithing Course is designed for those who have completed our Intro to Silversmithing or have equivalent experience (please email to discuss eligibility).
You’ll advance your skills with new techniques, including:
Delft Casting – Create detailed metal pieces using sand casting.
Fold Forming – Shape metal with organic, sculptural folds.
Press Forming – Form metal into intricate designs using pressure.
The first four weeks focus on skill-building using copper and brass, ensuring a strong foundation. In the final two weeks, you’ll design and craft your own unique silver jewellery piece. Silver can be purchased separately for your final project.
