Closing Event – Salome Kappelin residency at Extension Art Space
For three months, Salome Kappelin has inhabited Extension Art Space as our Stockholm Summer Resident, creating the exhibition Efterlanskap / Jälkimaisema. In her work, memory moves across generations, gestures of care take shape, and traces of healing emerge through textiles, etchings, drawings, video, sound, and performance.
To mark the closing, Salome will be joined by composer and vocal artist Liselotte Östblom, whose sound design resonates within the installation.
In an intimate setting, Salome will reflect on selected works, allowing them to unfold once more, accompanied by Liselotte’s improvised vocals.
Two live reflections will take place:
At 15:00 and 18:00 (approx. 30 min each)
We invite you to gather, listen, linger, and share this final moment of the residency. Fika and drinks will be served outdoors, if the weather permits.
