The dance work of Isadora Duncan returns to Galleri Duerr with the two of the original repertory pieces which have been rarely seen.

The Bacchanale 1903 to Gluck´s music Iphigenia en Aulide. This dance embodies the spirits of the dancing Maenads bringing divine frenzy to life through wine, merriment and chaos.
The Slow March 1914 to Schubert´s Grande March no.5. Isadora's return to choreography after the tragic death of her children 1913.

Kathleen will introduce the two pieces and give background to Isadora's inspiration. Isadora's Art speaks to us today but not as she had thought? In her time it was Revolutionary and now it is a call for Peace.
Afterwards there will be time for discussion.
