Join us on Thursday, August 21st, from 17:00 to 19:00 at Charity Art Gallery (C.A.G.), for the vernissage of Abeer Al-Zoubi.

Abeer is a Syrian-Swedish visual artist whose work is deeply rooted in the vibrant colors and refined forms of Middle Eastern art traditions. Her paintings are hand-crafted, each one unique, carrying a strong sense of love, passion, and joy. Through her expressive use of color and form, she creates works that invite viewers to feel closeness, warmth, and the uplifting brightness of a morning sun.

Abeer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from Damascus University (1999–2003) and has a background as a graphic designer (2003–2014). She is a member of the Swedish National Artists’ Organization (KRO), Blekinge Art Tour, and Art in the Moment collective.

Her international exhibition history spans from the United Arab Emirates Biennale (2003) to multiple solo and group exhibitions at Mustafa Ali Gallery in Syria, and more recently across Sweden, including Kulturhuset in Bräkne-Hoby (2024) and Karlskrona’s Archipelago Festival (2025).
