This October, Rachel Bebb Contemporary art gallery is delighted to welcome Hampshire-based stone carver Zoë Wilson.
Zoë creates contemplative works rooted in geometry, rhythm and stillness. Using only traditional tools – mallet, chisel and compass – she hand-carves intricate patterns in British stone, offering a quiet invitation to slow down and reflect.
Zoë says:
“In a fast world, precision has become a quiet luxury – rare, unhurried and deeply human. The patterns you see are not machine-perfect, but shaped by rhythm, breath and touch. Here, precision is not about perfection, it is about presence.”
Her works do not seek to shout but to absorb – drawing the eye inward until thought softens into stillness and looking becomes a kind of listening.
Other works by gallery artists will also be on show separately.
