This is an MGFun, MG Car Club, MGF Register event and open to MGF and TF models only. Please don't ask to come in your Tesla! Organised by MGFun Glasgow, Stirling and Argyll region. Of course all other the MGFun regions are welcome to attend.
Glencoe. Arguably the most beautiful and scenic area in Scotland and with the addition of snow on the mountains the whole route becomes spectacular.
The run is weather dependant and may be cancelled very near to the date but bear in mind, we have never had to cancal one of these runs before. We hold this run every January (sorry its a bit late for 2026) and usually it attracts a handful of cars due to members cars being SORD'd over the winter months.
MEETING LOCATION; Dobbies Garden Centre Stirling, Drip Road, Stirling FK9 4UF
MEETING TIME: 9am for breakfast. They do an excellent breakfast!
DEPARTURE: 10.15 Sharp. Please be ready to leave on time. Runs are timed to arrive at other locations therefore please be ready to leave on time.
MORNING ROUTE; From Dobbies, Stirling to Glencoe Inn. 2hrs. 80 miles.

Due to the time of year and road conditions we will be sticking to the main roads to and from Glencoe.
LUNCH; Clachaig Inn, Glen Coe.

AFTERNOON ROUTE; Depart approx. 2.15pm. Due to the time of year and possible weather changes on the day we won't be heading further north and will return via the same scenic road south through Glencoe again. We will stop at the Green Welly Stop, Tyndrum for a pee break, tea/coffee before saying our goodbyes.
THE OFFICIAL BIT:
This is an MG Car Club, MGF Register event and open to MGF and TF models only. It is a “Social Event” with no competitive element to the run, therefore no MSUK Certificate (Motorsport UK) is required. Everyone who attends will be required to complete the sign in sheet on the day to be covered by the MG Car Club Public Liability Insurance. See Glenn if you wish to view the Certificate. All runs are FREE for MG Car Club members. Non-members are most welcome to attend a couple of MGFun events before deciding if they wish to continue attending and becoming an MG Car Club member. A sort of “try before you buy” thing.
