Community Forum - Shape the way we engage with you.
DATE: Tuesday 30 September 2025
TIME: 6pm to 8pm
We'd like your help to understand how we can improve the way we engage with you and how you'd like to be involved in Council decision making.
This is your chance to be heard, have discussions, learn from locals, and collaborate with your community. Your ideas and feedback will help us to create a draft Community Engagement Framework for Adelaide Hills Council.
WHY ATTEND?
- Participate in the development of our Community Engagement Framework by telling us about what good engagement looks like to you and how you'd like to be involved in Council decision-making.
- Hear about activities being undertaken by local community groups.
- Find out about our new community engagement online platform.
- Have the opportunity to suggest and discuss ideas for your community.
- Connect with council staff and Elected Members.
There will be plenty of opportunities for community led topics and discussions and various information for community members to investigate.
VENUE ACCESSIBILITY
We hold community forums at different venues across our community throughout the year. We aim to select facilities that are run by local community groups and that meet certain accessibility criteria as much as is possible.
The Upper Sturt Soldiers Memorial Hall was constructed in 1935. Due to its age, the hall has some accessibility limitations.
We understand that these limitations may prevent some community members from being able to attend the forum. If you have any concerns about your ability to attend, or would require additional support to attend, please let us know so we can consider what adaptions we may be able to make to support your attendance.
PARKING
There is limited parking available at the Upper Sturt Soldiers Memorial Hall. We encourage community members to carpool where possible.
Bookings are for catering purposes.
Catering will be provided along with tea, coffee and water.
