Join us for this full day workshop in acrylic painting. Learn to paint a beautiful big blooms painting, exploring composition, light and shade, colour mixing, building up with layers, textural effects and so much more. Images will be provided or you can bring your own, if preferred.

Titanium White
Unbleached White
Ultramarine Blue
Cerulean Blue or manganese Blue
Alizarin or similar cool red
Cadmium Red or similar warm red
Australian Sienna
Cadmium Yellow Medium or similar
Yellow Ochre
Raw Umber
Burnt Umber
Burnt Sienna
Bring along any paints you already have.
Cartridge paper for sketching prep workor a small pad of canvas paper
One canvas A3, 60 x 60cm or 40 x 40cm
One large brush for blocking in shapes
A selection of flat bristle and synthetic brushes sizes 1 - 3cm wide
Palette - Disposable palette with tear-off sheets or plastic plate
Spray bottle
Cloth or paper towels
Note pad, pen and pencil
