It is #backtoschool season which means we’re already planning ahead for another year of education programs, including Oklahoma's Envirothon Competition! Whether you’re a returning coach, a science teacher who’s been curious about Envirothon, or simply someone who wants to give your students a hands-on, real-world STEM experience—this is the year to dive in!
NEW This Fall – Envirothon Field Day
October 22, 2025 | Lake McMurtry (East Side Pavilion)
Up to 100 high school students and teachers will spend the day outdoors exploring soils, aquatics, forestry, wildlife, and the 2026 special topic: nonpoint source pollution. Students will rotate through five hands-on stations and wrap up with a mini-Envirothon exam.
Teachers: If you’ve ever thought about bringing a team to Envirothon, this is the perfect way to start. While students are rotating through stations, teachers will take part in a Project WET professional development workshop and receive the new Foundations of Water Education curriculum guide (NGSS-aligned, published 2024). You’ll walk away with classroom-ready lessons and a better understanding of how Envirothon connects to your instruction.
Registration is free but required by October 6th

If you’ve ever wanted to see what Envirothon is all about, this fall Field Day is the perfect chance to jump in. We hope to see you—and your students—out in the field this October!
