The Historical Society of Stillwater Township (HSST) invites residents and visitors to celebrate the beauty of the season at the 19th Annual Fall Festival, part of the community’s ongoing Bicentennial celebration. The festival will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Stillwater Township School, 904 Stillwater Road, Stillwater, NJ.
The day begins with the parade lineup at 10:30 a.m. at the historic Gristmill, followed by a full schedule of autumn festivities: hayrides, pumpkin picking, a lively antique tractor parade, craft vendors, children’s games, delicious food, live music, and the ever-popular pie-eating contest.
This year’s festival will also feature a special moment in Stillwater’s Bicentennial history, as the HSST unveils the newly placed Academy historic marker, one of two commissioned this year alongside a marker for Keen’s Mill on the lake.
“We are so excited for this year’s festival, especially as we continue celebrating Stillwater’s 200th Anniversary,” said Deborah Drumm, Co-Chair of the event and President of HSST. “Our festival is the perfect way to embrace the fall season while honoring our community’s rich history.”
At 1:00 p.m., children are invited to participate in friendly running races at the school’s flagpole, coordinated by Laurie Gordon of X-Treme Running Camp.
Local support is strong once again, with Chef’s Catering of Columbia, NJ providing food for festival-goers, and the Stillwater School Board of Education generously hosting the event on school grounds.
Festival proceeds will benefit the Historical Society’s museum and preservation efforts, including the Grist Mill Restoration Project, listed among New Jersey’s Top 10 Most Endangered Historic Places (2021).
