On Friday, September 26, we raise a glass to the first Island Pub era — a night for the owners, the memories, and everyone who’s called this place home.
The building’s changed. The faces have too. But a bar’s a bar, and when the night’s right, the music still fills the air. Before Island Pub, it was Luke’s Grill. Before that, Babe’s Saloon — a pool hall where the tables stayed full, the drinks stayed cheap, and the stories got louder. Go back far enough, and this was just marshland off Thompson Creek, named after a man who partied so hard, they say he never really left.
I’ll be playing solo and unplugged — no big stage, no frills, just me, a guitar, and a set that fits the room. Gritty originals, unexpected covers, and stories that belong to this place. If you’ve been to one of these nights before, you already know. If you haven’t — well, it’s about time.
Pull up a chair, order another round, and let’s make it one to remember.
🎟️ No cover – just show up. See you there.
