Into the Winterwood: A Forest Remedies Workshop, will be a cozy hands-on make & take experience inspired by the evergreens and wild medicine of our North Alabama woods.
We’ll sip Dark Forest Chai and Forest Floor Cocoa while creating three deeply restorative herbal blends:
🍄 Adaptogenic Energy Bites - deliciously soothing and grounding snacks for calm, steady winter strength when you need it (contains nuts).
☕ Forest Floor Cocoa & Dark Forest Chai - learn how to make these delectable, earthy, spiced blends, deeply nourishing to the nervous and immune systems (choose one to take home).
🪵 Deep Forest Bath Soak with mineral rich salts, local pine, Virginia cedar, juniper, eastern hemlock, and sweetgum, crafted to open the lungs, boost immunity, and soothe weary bodies.
This class is a sensory walk through winter’s apothecary … rich, grounding, and full of forest fragrance. You’ll learn how mushrooms, evergreens, and roots support the body in winter, then make your own herbal creations to take home. We’ll talk about the medicine of the forest, the grounding calm of forest air, the ancient art of "forest bathing," and how to carry that feeling into the cold and dark months ahead. You’ll leave with your handmade creations and a few new forest allies.
This is my last class of the year and it will only be offered once! Let’s close 2025 together with the quiet strength of the woods.
Who this is for:
Anyone who wants grounded, family friendly herbal strategies. Beginners welcome. Seasoned home herbalists will still pick up new info.
Bring a notebook, a pen, your reading glasses, and your favorite mug if you want to taste tea in style. Come curious, leave prepared.
