📚 Bound by Healing: Monthly Book Club
We’re back! ✨ Bound by Healing returns this October, and you’re invited to gather with us in community, laughter, and reflection. This isn’t your average book club — it’s a space where stories meet healing, where humor and heartache sit side by side, and where connection grows one page at a time.
We’ll meet the second Sunday of every month from 1–3 PM at Bound to Happen Books on the second level.
⚠️ Accessibility note: The second level is only accessible by stairs. There is no elevator access.
📖 Our first read: Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson.
Jenny doesn’t just write about living with mental illness — she charges in, arms wide open, with humor so sharp it’ll make you snort-laugh and honesty so raw it’ll stop you in your tracks. Through absurd adventures, candid truths, and ridiculous taxidermy (yes, really 🦝✨), Lawson reminds us that choosing joy — sometimes defiantly — can be one of the most healing acts of all.
Come as you are — whether you’ve devoured every page, highlighted a few favorite quotes, or are still on chapter two. What matters is showing up, sharing space, and being part of the conversation. 💛
