CALL FOR ARTISTS - FREE OPPROTUNITY
The Riverfront Arts Center invites artists to participate in The Studio, an immersive exhibition that focuses on the creative process rather than just the finished product. This show will be running from September 18- October 19. Instead of displaying completed works alone, this show will transform the gallery into a series of recreated artist workspaces. 8 Selected artists will be given space to set up a version of their studio within the gallery—sharing not only their artwork but the entire environment that surrounds it. This could include tools, materials, scraps, test pieces, unfinished works, sketches, inspiration boards, notes, computer demos, or anything else that reveals how your work comes to life. This is your opportunity to show the process, the trial and error, the mess, the experimentation. What does your creative process look like? And how can you help us bring that process to life within the gallery?
No fee to participate. Proposals are due via email by 11:59 PM on August 22. Final selections will be announced via email by September 1. Installation will be scheduled individually with each artist and take place between September 8 and September 17. All participating artists will receive free entry to any open calls at the Riverfront Arts Center throughout 2026.
